my name is Melody Reyes and i have been wandering the streets of NYC for seventeen years now. I'd like to be called Melody or Mel.
NOW THAT WE'VE MET ...
the kids at school look at me as just.. the musician/artist.
what you need to know about me: Melody is mostly a very energetic and outgoing girl. She loves to have fun, especially with her friends. She loves to joke around and help people out with their problems. She thinks that her friends should come before her, and is very selfless. This is why she always wants to help people as much as she can.
She also is a very hard worker. When she wants something, she won’t stop until she achieves her goal. Mostly this applies to her goals and schoolwork, but she can also be very pushy with other people too. She’s very smart when it comes to problem solving also. She knows how to get out of tricky situations, either by talking her way out of it, or some other method. Most people would call her sly or sneaky. .
and i haven't really told anyone this..but.. Melody’s most important thing in her life is singing. She loves to sing, and her main goal in life is to become a famous singer and spread her music throughout the world. Singing means so much to her because her father was a singer. He and her mother named her Melody because they thought someday she would have an amazing voice. Melody’s father died when she was 7, so Melody’s dream of becoming a singer became even bigger, and now she works hard every day trying to improve her voice. Her voice is actually really good too. She plays guitar as well, but she doesn’t take it as seriously as her singing career.
yea.. i know.. i look a lot like Victoria Justice.

You Name: Alice
Your Age: 13
Something about you: I’m really hyper, I like to act weird and use lots of smiley guys, and I am obsessed with Michael Jackson. I also have plenty of experience with role-playing.

Another day of school…Melody thought idly as she locked the front door to her house and jumped down the four stairs that led to the ground. She always had a habit of jumping down these stairs, even though it had earned her many scrapes and bruises in her life. She started walking down the sidewalk on the side of the street, walking in the direction of the school. She loved school. Most people would probably disagree with her, but she thought it was a great way to escape real life for awhile. She didn’t have a great life back at home. They barely had enough money to get by; her mother worked extra hours, and her dad… Melody blinked back tears, and shook her head vigorously to get the thought out her head. She’d rather not think about that. Next month it would be ten years since he had passed away. It certainly flew by.
She was at least a half a mile from the school when she heard a rustle in the bushes beside her. She stopped dead in her tracks, and turned her head to peer at the bushes. It seemed like nothing was there. Probably just a squirrel. Melody started walking again, but only walked three steps until she stopped again. She heard a low growling sound. She turned around slowly and was face to face with a large black dog. And boy, did it look angry. That’s when Melody made a dash for it as fast as she could. When she looked back behind her shoulder, the dog was chasing her.
“Oh no!” Melody shouted to herself, and forced her legs to run faster. What did she ever do to dogs?! They always chased her! After four minutes of sprinting for her life, Melody saw the school. She ran across the parking lot, with the dog still behind her, and pushed open the front doors. She ran inside and right before the dog was going to leap after her, she shut the door as hard as she could.
Everyone gave her strange looks as she fell to the floor, trying to catch her breath. “Uhm…” Melody said quietly. “Heh… What? Is it weird for a girl to want to sprint into her favorite school because she is excited? I think not. So stop staring!”
