Felt like posting what I had to you guys...

Amara Blake
Age: 16
Details: Has a sister, Violet, and they hate each other. Violet is the Queen Bee, Lindsay's best friend while Amara is Lindsay's #1 enemy. She has been dreaming about the same person since she was 8 and has fallen in love with the guy in the dreams, Luther, but knows - or at least thinks - he's not real.
Species: Human
Abilities: To walk into other people's dreams, harm people with her powerful psychic ability and can see the future, depending on the subject of it.
Personality: Smartass, sarcastic, mistrust issues, outspoken, sweet (sometimes), shy (sometimes), secretive, oblivious (under certain circumstances), observant (depending on the situation), short-tempered, imaginative (the reason she has her abilities), holds grudges.



Luther Carson
Age: 16
Details: Has been seeing Amara in his dreams since he was 8, has fallen in love with her. He plans to find her someday, because he knows that him dreaming about her every single night isn't just a coincidence. But the problem is he doesn't know where to start. So, he isn't prepared when...(I'm not gonna spoil it so you'll have to wait!!! )
Species: Vampire-Hybrid
Abilities: Is able to sense aura's and influence them (otherwise influences emotions)
Personality: Quiet, thoughtful, outgoing, creative, determined, caring, understanding, curious, careless (doesn't know when to stop; arguing, insulting, traveling/venturing, etc.)



Nala Garcia
Age: 16
Details: She is an only child and is currently dating Dustin Emms. She loves him and can't imagine life without him anymore...not that it would be possible for either one considering they were soulmates. He's going to turn her when they are both 18. She is very likable, despite the odds and her appearance, but you'd be surprised.
Species: Human
Abilities: Reads minds and can communicate from that, or otherwise able to put thoughts into someone else's mind while reading it
Personality: Goofy, accepting, loud, random, sarcastic, trusting, non-pryer (doesn't make people tell her stuff if they don't want to), kind, protective (gets that from Dustin), caring, free-spirit, thoughtful.



Dustin Emms
Age: 16
Details: His nickname is Dusty, and the only one who calls him that is Nala. He loves her and doesn't want anything happening o her, and some people think he's scary sometimes because of how he acts at the slightest hint of a threat towards her. He stays with his friends no matter what (you'll understand by the time you know what species he is xD). He doesn't really like Alex much, but he deals with him.
Species: Werewolf
Abilities: To turn into a giant (silver with black spots on back) wolf. Is stronger than a human, and is warmer. He gets hurt as easily as a human, and heals in half the time it takes for a human to heal. (ex: if he broke his leg, it would be healed within1-3 months)
Personality: Loyal, trustworthy, protective (mostly of Nala), friendly, positive, childish, funny, outgoing, close-minded, hold grudges, accepting (because of Nala)



Alex Jordan
Age: 16
Details: He's a womanizer, and loves to mess around with girls. He's perverted and loves getting people awkward with that. He's only had one serious girlfriend before but she got killed because of him so thats what turned him into this womanizer person. Not to mention his species also affects that. He has a major crush on Devlyn, but won't admit it though everyone else is telling him to.
Species: Incubus
Abilities: Able to suck the life out of a being if carried away, able to attract prey with looks and simple words (almost like mind control but the victim/prey can deny him if they have enough common sense)
Personality: Perverted, childish, flirty, cocky, a bit selfish, determined, sweet (when given the chance), gentle (if given the chance), defensive, anger issues



Devlyn Mitchel
Age: 16
Details: She used to be very outgoing until she got damaged by a heartbreak and all of her family members dying at the hand of the same person. She is alone, but honestly doesn't care. The only person she's truly comfortable around is Alex, for whatever reason. She knows that it's because she has a crush on him, but won't admit it and no one knows about it.
Species: Shadow Demon
Abilities: Able to transport in demon form, able to turn into a shadow and blend into surroundings, venomous when she wants t o be
Personality: Shy, secretive, close-minded, cautious, gentle, kind, quiet, takes blame, selfless

Violet Blake
Age: 16
Details: She is Amara's twin sister and doesn't really like her that much, though she envies her a bit. She is Lindsay's best friend and likes having attention. She always gets good-looking boyfriends, but never the actual good ones like her sister. Though her sister has had only 2 boyfriends, while Violet has had too many to count, she still is somewhat jealous of her sister.
Species: Human



Lindsay Erins
Age: 16
Details: She is Amara's high school's Queen Bee, and she hates Amara. One of the only reasons she has Violet as a friend is to try and get to Amara.
Species: Human

~Nightmares & Dreamscapes~ Prologue

You know, it's kinda hard to think that my life could change so drastically in 6 months. From being an outcast at school, bitching to the head bitch at my old school everyday, and having no friends; I now have a group of great friends, I have a boyfriend, and there isn't anyone to try and put me down. And for once in my life, I'm actually on good terms with my sister, Violet.

That was something I didn't expect.

And I didn't know she could be so...nice. It was a shocker for me and everyone else just laughed about it, especially Luther. But then again...Luther is the reason everything happened to me, pretty much. But I'm guessing you have no idea what I'm talking about, do you?

Well...let's go back in time 8 years ago...

(Flashback)
'My eyes drooped as my mother tucked me in, and I smiled slightly when she kissed my forehead. I may be 8, but I still liked having mom tuck me in...it was a sense of comfort me. And also that I probably wouldn't be able to sleep if she didn't.

"Goodnight Am." My mom's voice chimed from my doorway, and I managed to mumble, "Night ma...." I heard her quiet laugh before she shut my door all the way and the dim light coming through my windows kept it kinda light in my room. I felt and heard myself yawn big and I gave a soft sigh. It always made me fall asleep faster...

My eyes closed, and unlike the black I always saw after I closed my eyes, there was a field or a meadow or something like it...with really pretty flowers. I giggled, and the sound surprised me in the dream. With my little laugh came the sounds of happy animals around me.

And also the sound of someone else. 'Please don't let this be a nightmare, please don't let this be a nightmare...' I begged in my head, watching where I heard the sound of footsteps.

"Hi." A voice said from behind me and I jumped, giving out a small squeak as I turned. There stood a boy, he seemed like he was my age...but I couldn't be sure.

I was never good with that stuff.

"You scared me!" I snapped, huffing as I crossed my arms and glared at him. He just grinned widely at me and I blushed a bit. "What're you doing here?" I whispered, looking at him as I took a step back. "I'm asleep...what're you doing here?" He countered, mimicking me as he crossed his arms. "I'm dreaming...I don't know how you ended up here though." I grumbled, and he laughed.

Then he gave me a sweet smile. "I don't think you dreamed me up." He said, and then looked around. "Though this place, you definitely dreamed up. I wouldn't of been able to imagine it." He said, looking back at me.

My blue eyes watched him and then I tucked my hair behind my ears. "I'm Amara." I said, and he looked at me weirdly. "What?" I asked, and he turned his head a bit before shrugging at me. "Nothing, it's just a weird, pretty name." He said, and I blushed deeply at that.

"So, who're you?" I asked, walking away from him as I sat in the middle of the field. I picked some flowers and smelt them, and smiled a bit when they smelt really sweet. I loved flowers...they were always so pretty and smelt good. "I'm Luther." He said, coming to sit beside me. I scooted over a bit and he rolled his eyes at me before picking a flower and throwing it at me.

I opened my mouth and gaped at that. Then grinned widely at him as I tore up a whole bunch of flowers and threw them at him. Then I started giggling when he glared at me. There was a flower in his hair, and it kind of made him look like a girl.

I'm sure he wasn't too happy about that.

We started throwing flowers at each other and by the time it seemed like hours passed by, we were like best friends. "Stop t-t-tickling me!!!" I squealed, trying to push at his hands. He was just laughing, watching me laugh and squirm. "But it's funny!!!" He said, continuing to tickle me. "Stop!" I squeaked, and he finally pulled his hands away from my stomach. I slapped his hand lightly and he held it to his chest, faking being hurt. "Ow..." He said, and I rolled my eyes.

Everything around us starting fading and I looked at him, and he sighed. "See ya." He said sadly, and I gave him a big hug. "I hope I dream about you again." I said, starting to pull away but he hugged me tighter. "Me too." He whispered, and we pulled away. I gave a small smile and waved, before everything, including him, disappeared and everything went black.'

That was the first time I met him, in my dreams. And it was fun...he was my best friend and we just became closer throughout the years. And then it came to now...and he loves me and I love him. But it's a little bit more than that.

That's what I'm trying to tell you about.
