It had been nearly five months of a long and harsh recovery at the hospital and after having gotten through a wheelchair, Lola was now deemed able to use crutches as long as she wore a cast on her knee and a boot on her foot. After having gotten Anthony to dirve her back to her house and into her room, Lola had made Anthony, at least for the night. Lola had gone into her long closest and quickly put a nice long skirt with a big short sleeve shirt because she now had a baby bump. Lola laid her head down on Anthony's nice, soft and warm chest and then looked up at him and said "I love you Anthony Cross and I can't wait til the babies are born." Then Lola had grabbed Anthony's hands and put them over her belly, so he could feel the babies move around and kick, just like Lola could. When the babies had both moved and kicked, Lola giggled and smiled as she looked up at Anthony.

Anthony sighed, closing his eyes before felt her head lay on his chest. He opened his eyes and gave a smile to her. "And I love you too Lola Scanlon." He said, chuckling as she took his hand and put it over her stomach. He smiled lightly when he felt the babies moving around, then rolled his eyes. "I have a feeling that they'll be kind of hard to control. That they'll be very energetic." He said, chuckling again as he kissed Lola's forehead.

Lola then put her hands over Anthony's and smiled once again as she felt the babies kick again and then she twined her fingers through Anthony's and looked up at him, with an ever large smile. "I have a feeling that if there is a boy he'll be easy, but the girl will probably be too full of energy and that I'll have to contain her and play tea parties and dress-up with her." Lola kissed Anthony back and then giggled a little as she pictured playing dress-up and tea parties too.

He felt a smile tug at his lips and a small chuckle come from his lips. The smile from her placing her hands over his own, and then the chuckle at the babies kicking. Things didn't seem to surreal anymore to him, he had adjusted. "Probably. And most likely will be sporty like her mother, so it's something to expect." He said, smiling at her. Then he sighed as he watched her for a moment. Anthony kissed her forehead again and then leaned his head back and closed his eyes. "Is it just me or has this been a bit too stressful lately?" He murmured to her.

Lola quickly kissed Anthony back once he had closed his eyes and then laid back down with her hands still over Anthony's and on her baby belly. "It's definitely expected and I definitely wouldn't mind it being the other way around, then you'd have to play dress-up and tea parties with the girl." Then Lola had stopped and looked up at Anthony with a slightly worried look on her face and had said "What exactly do you mean Anthony?"

He chuckled a bit. "I might be able to do that. But I don't know, Jez forced me to do that when we were younger. How? I have no idea. So, it won't be much different." He said, thinking of the few years he had to be forced to do tea parties and dress up with Jez...she had loved it, and that was when they were actually on good terms...Now, not so much. Then he sighed as he opened his eyes slightly to look at Lola. "Well...think about it. First you got hurt, then we found out you were pregnant, and then 5 months in the hospital. It's actually kind of nice to not have to worry about...much. At the moment, we can relax a little bit. I don't mean that in a bad way at all though." He said, adding the last part when he saw her expression. Then he kissed her forehead lightly. "Do you get what I mean?" He said quietly, closing his eyes again.

"Well I'm glad that you and your sister Jez were on good terms at some point, but now I get the point. I'll still play dress-ups and tea parties, but the sporty one might want some attention too" and Lola had then giggled a little. Then after Anthony had spoken again about what he said had been stressful for him and some for Lola too, it made her think a little. Lola was now having mood swings and was angry for no reason and had said "Of course it stresses me out Anthony. I almost went insane in that room. The only thing that kept me from going insane was you and the thought that the babies had survived another day and could make it until they're born." Now Lola was yelling a little and stood up and began to pace around a little with her hands on her back, supporting her back a little and still with an angry look on her face.

He shrugged. "It'll probably never happen again; Jez and I being on good terms. I'm not too sure I want that to happen though. It was worse when we got into fights and she was bothering me 24/7 then...so...I don't know." He said, sounding a bit helpless as he looked at her. When Lola started yelling a bit at Anthony, he frowned a bit. "Calm down, Lola. No need to yell. I know you're stressed, ok? I know. But everything will be fine soon. You don't have to be mad about anything." He said, his voice soft and assuring. If he wasn't used to this by now, he might've snapped at her. And that wouldn't have helped anything, just made her mood worse and his own. Instead of getting up, he just stayed sitting on the bed, and watched her pacing form. His eyes were anxious, tired, and focused. But Tony's eyes were watching Lola intently.

Then after practically ten quick minutes of pacing and breathing for Lola she had finally calmed down, but was still having mood swings and now she was just happy and content. Then after laying down next to Anthony she laid her head in his lap and looked at him and began to cry because she was now sad. "I'm so sorry, Anthony. I shouldn't have yelled at you and I could never ask for such a kind, sweet, smart, and loyal friend and boyfriend." Lola had then tried hiding her face from Anthony's because tears were streaming down her face. It was just another part of her mood swings due to her pregnancy.

Anthony looked down at her and when he saw the tears from her crying appear, he started wiping them away. Whether it was irrational or not, he didn't like seeing her cry at all. "It's fine. You didn't do anything wrong." He murmured softly, kissing her forehead. Then he sighed when she tried to hide her face. "You didn't have to ask and never will." He said quietly, turning her face lightly so he could look at her. It was weird...Lola brought out his soft side. And that was something that not even he himself had seen in years...let alone anyone else. Tony then kissed her forehead against and gave a small smile as he continued wiping her tears away. Then he just pulled her into a hug.

Anthony brought out so many good things in Lola especially when she said that was loved him and was proud to be carrying their kids. Except she rarely said anything about the babies because her mind was mainly on Anthony and how to become closer with him. "I love you Anthony and you're so tolerant. I'm saying if this were to ever happen to us again in the future I'll know you'll be there for me. I don't say this often, but I'm proud to be carrying our babies because, well I love you Anthony Cross" and then Lola kissed him and then pulled down and rested her head against his shoulder. She was getting kind of tired and then let out a soft little yawn.

He smiled a bit and then held her a bit tighter. "You're right...I would be there." He said, chuckling softly. Then he gave a small grimace. "I'm not really all that tolerant, its just for you in particular." He murmured in an aside. Then Anthony smiled widely. "And you should know well that I love you." He said, kissing her forehead after she pulled away from him. Then he laughed lightly when she yawned. "I think you should try and sleep. You seem tired." He said quietly, tucking some of her hair behind her ear.

"Anthony I really don't want to go to sleep just yet. Will you stay with me? or Do you need to go home?" and Lola looked up at and just hoped that he would stay because she's giving off a really pleading look. Lola then wrapped her arm around Anthony and rested her head lightly on his chest.

Anthony looked at her and he didn't even need to deliberate. He didn't want to go home, and that was mostly because of Lola. The fact that his sister was probably home just persuaded him further to stay. He wrapped his arms around her and rubbed her back lightly. "I'm definitely staying." He said, tightening his arms for a moment in a somewhat-hug and then loosening them again. Besides, he knew he wouldn't of been able to deny her either way.

Lola then giggled a little when she felt Anthony hug her and then she moved to lay down on her back and then she giggled once again when she felt the babies kick. She just couldn't wait to hold the little ones in her arms and well it was just a bonus really because her and Anthony were in love with each other and would soon have a family too. "I'll talk to you in the morning Anthony. Goodnight!" and Lola put her hands over her belly, closed her eyes and then fell asleep.
